Spent a bomb at watsons yesterday! i was so shocked when i saw the bill. But i tell myself they are neccessities cos i really have to use these, replenish stock!

I have been hearing all the raves about this Biore aqua watery base sunblock cos i really want a sunscreen that isnt greasy and leave a whitish sheen.
then i saw another Biore sunscreen with “WHITENING” word and i tested, so im sold. HAHA.

Now for the CURE aqua gel. IM so mad this product is now $49!!! KNN.
used to cost $40. 25% increase is not acceptable.
although it suppsoe to last 4 months, but i took 2 years. so about $1 a month.

My favourite foam cleanser!! it rocks!! so thick and foamy.

As for the Guclosamine, its a birthday present for my mom.

As for the free goodie bag, i realise theres some free samples inside!!

[Review] Biore Marshmellow facial whip

Merry Christmas!!

a quick google reveals that many many ppl have reviewed this pdt before. i have to admit i’ve been wanting to write this review since i bought it a couple of months back but it didnt materialise.
i rmb i was so excited abuot this when i saw the ads that this pdt is coming to SG, and went to grab it when it is launched at watson. I cant remembered how much i paid, but its def within budget of $15 MAX

the reason why i’ve always wanted this is becos i really need a gentle cleaner that can FOAM. yes, to me foam is the substance that cleanses the skin, and the more the merrier. thats why all the cleanser i buy are ‘foaming’ claenser like the avene foaming gel and the fancl washing powder, which all promises to foam.
unfortunately i am unable to make good foam from them previously and always super watery, or for fancl case, its like white and watery with 0 foam, i am bad at these. so i dont want to waste such quality pdt anymroe and decide to move to smthg that foams for me. haha.

but i still love the avene one cos i can foam it with my clarisonic mia – and i will continue to use it as my evening cleanser. read about it here

so the Biore Marshmellow whip will be my morning cleanser – perfect for the mornings with its gentle formula and thorough cleansing. i sleep without aircon so sometimes my skin feels greasy in the morning. it also contains collagen, which helps your skin maintain the suppleness and youthfulness.

this amount is mroe than enuf for my fat face

foam so dense and springy!! this is exactly how foam shd be. the fluid dynamics is so hard to acheive (engineering geek)

ok, so this is not the ideal image of what you see in the ads and probably other blogs. but mine is the reality after massaging into my face.

and now for the after wash and dry.

skin feels refreshed and clean and ready for skincare!

my only comments is that the perfume may be a tad too strong. doesnt really bother me cos its a really nice smell.

[Review] Biore Nose Pore Pack black

i should be diligently removing the sebum from my nose more often… i have so much blackheads that i really find my nose the most problematic skin part of my entire face. large pores filled with black or white heads and sebum… i think there is no solution, other than to ensure pores are clean and try to absorb the oil there during the day.

WHAT YOU CAN DO BEFORE USING THE PORE PACK

i should have thought of this earlier!! dunno what took me so long.. anyway pls try this!!
pour hot water about 1/3 full into a cup. put your nose into the cup, not touching the hot water of cos its only 1/3 full, at the same time breathing OUT from your nose so force the steam to propel upwards.
the steam will not only OPEN up your pores to the max for effective cleaning, it will also condense on yuor skin to wet your nose for the pore pack!!! IDEA RIGHT!~~ anw i tried it and i see more sebum coming out so pls try!~!!

i use the pore pack about once every 2 months, since i also use Dr Jark all out black heads. so i alternate every month between these 2. thats y i say i shd be more diligent.

for me pore packs offers a mroe physical solution to remove sebum n blackheads, since it forces the unwanted stuff out by sticking to the pack and pulling it out. there’s bound to be many stubborn ones which cant be removed from pore packs, and i depend on faicals, where the extracting part to remove them. my nose is immune to pain…

after pore pack i will use my toner to calm my skin down and remove any remaining pack stuck to my skin. and proceed with my regular skin care routine.

i prefer black pore packs so i can see the sebum removed. haha

I stepped into Watsons during lunch since there’s still time and ended up spending $$$!! i should really practise self control man… but who can resist a good bargain right?
